Adopt-A-Block:
Adopt-a-Block is a ministry and the heart beat of the Atlanta Dream Center. Freestyle partners with the ADC every Saturday morning as volunteers go out into the 4th ward to meet practical and spiritual needs of the people. We bring groceries, trash bags, and the Love of Christ to every door, and always offer prayer and salvation to those who need Christ. Adopt-a-Block is changing the old 4th ward and the city of Atlanta. Come and be a part of changing somone's life for Christ through love and servanthood.
Street Evangalism:
Street evangelism is, quite simply, talking with people about the good news of Jesus Christ. We spend an hour or two, or even more, walking around town and sharing Jesus with those we encounter.
Prayer Walks:
Going on a prayer walk is more than just walking and praying; its fighting the spiritual battle in the streets of Atlanta. So many are held in bondage to many different life damaging things. Our prayer is that those chains would break and the Kingdom of God would reign.
Block Parties:
Music performers, food and fellowship all qualify for a Freestyle block party! Groups of volunteers go throughout the neighborhoods of the inner city of Atlanta, inviting kids and all to a celebration that provides free food, clothes and, most importantly, Jesus.
Safehouse:
Safe House outreach is an urban outreach committed to affecting real change in the lives of those in the margins of society by providing a hand up- not just a hand out.
Every third Sunday Freestyle partners with SafeHouse to bring worship, preaching, and a warm meal to these people who are searching for something more than they have been offered.
Join us at 6pm on 89 Ellis Street.
